About Our SAT Prep Course

The SAT Prep course consists of 16.5 hours of classroom instruction. The course is designed to decrease test anxiety and familiarize students with test directions, types of questions, and test-taking strategies. We review math and verbal concepts to ensure success in these SAT subject areas.

The SAT Prep course is uniquely developed and taught by Washington state certificated teachers.

This is our 19th year providing SAT Prep for students in western Washington. SAT Prep is offered only at local high schools (view the 2008-2009 course schedule).

Three options:

1. Study course AND a full-length SAT Practice Test. $298. Select any combination of course and practice test.

2. Course only. $265: 3 math and 3 verbal sessions, weekday afternoons or evenings. Text and materials are included.

3. Practice test only: $33: Select the Saturday morning or the date that is convenient for you.

The Course:

The course consists of 3 math and 3 verbal sessions, each 2 hours and 45 minutes, for a total of 16.5 classroom hours. A textbook and a student workbook of course materials are included. We vary the offerings: some courses are once per week spread over 6 weeks; some are twice per week (Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) spread over 3 weeks. In the summer, the courses run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday for 2 weeks. View the 2008-2009 course schedule.

The Practice Test:

This is a full-length SAT exam. It is held usually on a Saturday morning. The students benefit from a graded essay and scoring information. They leave with their practice SAT score.
We recommend the combination of the practice test and the course.
